The Stone Behind the Legend
By combining mineral with legend, Arnold & Son adds a new dimension to its thinnest tourbillon. The five versions of the Ultrathin Tourbillon Dragon & Phoenix, each consisting of five pieces, feature dials made of rarely used hard stone variants. Their build, color and richness serve as a backdrop for the two mythical creatures as they dance around their precious pearls.

A few models from the Arnold & Son collections can feature off-center dials. This arrangement is a result of both the historical legacy of the marine chronometers created by John Arnold in the 18th century and the mechanical nature of Arnold & Son's production calibers. A lucky result of this arrangement is that it naturally lends itself to artistic expression. Based on the Ultrathin Tourbillon model, Arnold & Son has produced a series of 25 pieces, pairing figures from Chinese mythology with the best Swiss expertise.
