A highly creative oil pumping system adorns the front of the watch. Its uniqueness lies in the essentialist morality of the depiction. Mainshaft and headstock, driveshaft and counterweight - only the traditional, distinctive components of the boom are shown. The result is a powerful, minimalist display with a loop that repeats three times a minute. To overcome this technical feat, an extremely lightweight, avant-garde material had to be used: the automaton was made entirely of brushed aluminium. The power is provided by the clockmaking mechanism itself, thus acting as the driving force for the entire assembly. Two wheels can be seen behind Derrick; Used to display the seconds in a special segment located at the six o'clock position.
