Louis Moinet introduces a creation that commemorates the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz adventure, the great Russian cosmonaut Alexey Leonov, the first joint space mission between the Soviet Union and the United States.
Soyuz 19 launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome and Apollo from Cape Canaveral. Florida, before the two came together for humanity's first meeting in space.

The event stands out as an oddity for historians and space enthusiasts. Apollo and Soyuz were space travel codenames in the US and former USSR, respectively – and in 1975 the world was in the throes of the Cold War. The two superpowers opposed in every way, at least not in a frenzied space race.
